Sectoral Technology and Solutions - Textile

Additive Manufacturing Technology

Cosyflex is manufactured additively, but instead of an extruder head or print bed, the fabric is built up in layers by a spray jet over the course of a few seconds, rather than minutes or hours. The system is capable of working with liquid polymers such as natural latex, silicon, polyurethane, and Teflon, as well as a variety of textile fibres such as cotton, viscose, and polyamide. Patterns, colours, decorative elements, and perforations can all be added during manufacturing. Eco-friendly technology which uses recycled raw material and produces very little scrap compared with traditional textiles industry.

Boilers

Steamology is developing scalable, modular hydrogen-based technology solutions that have commercially viable potential to replace oil and gas-fired boilers, for industrial sector steam and medium-grade heat users.
Steam is generated using energy stored as compressed hydrogen and oxygen gas in tanks. High pressure superheated steam is used to drive a turbine to do useful work by generating electricity. Renewable Energy is used to power electrolysis to generate the hydrogen and oxygen gas and to compress the gas into storage tanks. This Water to Water closed cycle is emission free producing no carbon or NOX emissions in a repeatable cycle without charging losses.

Industry 4.0 Wireless Energy Solutions

Industry 4.0 Wireless Energy Solutions offering end to end solution, right from LT main panel up to individual machines. While panel-level wireless sensors give an overview of energy consumption at the macro-level, the circuit-level / machine-level wireless sensors monitor energy consumption at each electrical phase (R/Y/B) of a machine. This will help in reducing inefficiencies/ wastages in any system but also machine level breakdowns through predictive maintenance. As the complete solution is wireless, the installation and software integration are executed within minutes and the whole system/ facility can be digitalized in no-time. The clip-on sensors are self-powered (no battery/ electrical source) and maintenance-free.

Supercritical- CO2 Dyeing Technique

World’s first 100% water free and process chemical free CO2 Dyeing technology for textile industries. DyeCoo uses patented and industrial proven technology based on CO2, instead of water. The technology uses reclaimed CO2 as the dyeing medium in a closed loop process. When pressurized, CO2 becomes supercritical (SC-CO2), a phase between a liquid and a gas. In this state CO2 has a very high solvent power allowing dye to dissolve easily. Due to the high permeability, the dyes are transported easily and deeply into fibres, creating vibrant colours.

The installation of Microturbine/Back pressure Turbine in Textile Processing/composite units

The conventional boilers in the Textile industry generally generates steam at higher pressure and end use pressure requirement is around 3 Bar. The PRDS pressure reducing and de-superheating system is used to reduce the pressure which results in the loss of kinetic energy of steam. By replacing PRDS by Back pressure turbine (microturbine) to generate power from the available kinetic energy of pressure drop across the PRDS and significantly less heat reduction.
