Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)

C-Capture’s unique, solvent based technology can be used to capture CO2 from a power station flue gas. This CO2 can then be sent for storage in geological reserves, or utilised in some way. C-capture's Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technology have applications in thermal electricity generation, steel, cement, and waste to energy plants.

Carbon Capture Technology

A patented carbon capture technology using CDRMax™ process which allows to capture more carbon at the lowest cost, all while meeting strict environmental criteria. The CDRMax™ process captures carbon dioxide (CO2) from the industrial flue gases or off-gases emitted from power plants, boilers, kilns and chemical facilities. The process produces CO2 with purities ranging from 95% to 99%, which can then be sold, re-used, or sequestered. The CDRMax™ process utilises our CO2 capture technology, proprietary solvent, process equipment, and advanced heat integration to significantly reduce both capital and operating costs.

Coal Moisture Control (CMC) system (Top Charged)

CMC is a preliminary coal treatment process in which coal to be charged into a coke oven is dried. A CMC system is a plant for drying the coking coal that is charged into a coke oven from 10% to approximately 6% moisture content. Charging dried coking coal into a coke oven brings a variety of merits, such as energy saving, improved coke quality, and increased coke production.

Coke Dry Quenching (CDQ)

CDQ is a system where hot coke removed from coke ovens at a temperature of approximately 1,000°C is cooled and kept dry with inert gas and the resulting steam produced in a waste heat recovery boiler is used to generate electricity. As the sensible heat recovered by heat transfer in the cooling chamber is utilized as a heat source for steam generation, electricity generated by CDQ is clean, environmentally-friendly energy. In addition, compared to the conventional wet quenching type, CDQ brings about advantages such as the reduction of dust emissions and improvement of coke quality.

Converter Gas Recovery Device

Basic oxygen furnaces generate extremely high-temperature waste gas containing large amounts of dust. This waste gas is rich in CO gas, which can be recycled as fuel if processed correctly. OG systems is a gas treatment facility that recovers basic oxygen furnace gas as a fuel gas by cooling and removing dust while suppressing the combustion of the CO gas as much as possible. Nippon Steel Engineering offers wet-type OG systems that remove dust using a water scrubber, such as the Venturi scrubber.

Oxidative Ionothermal Synthesis (Direct Oxidation)

Nanomox's patent-pending 'OIS process' (Oxidative Ionothermal Synthesis) utilises green catalytic solvents at low temperatures to complete the direct oxidation of metals to produce high-performance inorganic materials for industry. This process can treat metal-containing wastes from the Foundations Industries (FI). This technology offers enormous energy efficiency improvements and reduces reliance upon energy-intensive pyrometallurgical processes. In addition, this process co-produces hydrogen that can be used as a green fuel (AFR). This technology will provide steelmakers with the opportunity to reduce both waste and CO2 emissions of steel manufacturing whilst producing hydrogen which can be used as an alternative energy source to fossil fuels.

Regenerative Burner Total System for reheating furnace

While one of the burner is burning the other burner will work as exhaust outlet. The exhaust gas is discharged from the system after the waste heat of the gas is recovered so that the temperature of the gas will be lowered to the extent that there will be no condensation in the regenerator. The combustion air receives heat from the regenerator.

Waste Heat Recovery System

Heathcather system utilizes High Temperature Heat Pump (HTHP) for decarbonising hot water, and Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) for decarbonising electricity.
The Heatcatcher System works by using the waste heat to vaporise a refrigerant, which in turn drives a rotary generator. The variable frequency and voltage output of the generator is converted to match the grid, and this electrical output is fed back into the plant’s power supply.
